1.Why are you interested in cybersecurity technology?

I’m interested in cybersecurity technology, because it is so important in defending our digital world from malicious attacks, cybersecurity technology is something that interests me. The need for cybersecurity precautions is becoming more critical as we rely more heavily on technology in our daily lives. I find the complexity of cybersecurity systems and the ongoing evolution of threats, which calls for constant innovation and adaptation, to be fascinating. A career in cybersecurity technology, in my opinion, also provides the chance to have a significant social impact by safeguarding private data and shielding people and organizations from harm.

1. Computer Science: Cybersecurity and computer science are closely related fields of study. Designing, developing, and implementing software systems are skills that are taught to students in this major. The analysis and solution of challenging computer system-related problems is another skill taught to students. To create and implement security solutions for computer systems, this knowledge can be applied in the field of cybersecurity.

2. Electrical Engineering: Another degree that has something to do with cybersecurity is electrical engineering. Electrical system design and development, including computer hardware, are the main topics of this major. Electronics, computers, and circuits are taught to students. This information can be used to comprehend the inner workings of computer systems and create security solutions in the field of cybersecurity.

3. Information Technology: A major that has a close connection to cybersecurity is information technology. The use of technology to manage and process information is the main topic of this major. Information security, networking, and databases are taught to students. Information systems can be managed and secured using this knowledge in the field of cybersecurity.

4. Criminal Justice: A major that has a tangential connection to cybersecurity is criminal justice. This major focuses on the investigation of crime and the administration of justice. Law enforcement, the legal system, and corrections are all covered in class. This knowledge can be used in the field of cybersecurity to look into cybercrime and prosecute cybercriminals.
