There are many costs and benefits when determining if a cybersecurity program is necessary in a business. As technology grows, hackers can find ways to destroy a business from the inside out. According to an article published by the IT Security General, there are many different benefits to a business when they Implement in cybersecurity program. One of those being the ability to train people and how to identify and solve cyber related incidents. When you start a cybersecurity program, it is important that you train employees on how to actively notice when something is wrong. The article further goes into detail about how this can help the business and a variety of different ways. Well yes it is possible to hire a new cyber security professional. It might be more helpful to teach your employees different cyber security policies. This will ensure that the business is protected on all fronts. The article then goes on to say that many common threats that a business faces are online. Starting a cybersecurity program and treating your employees, you will eventually start saving money. This money can be used to invest back into the business and make a more secure server security program. One Con is that employees might not fully Implement different policies and procedures. While you can teach them, it is important that they keep up with those practices. Only then will you ensure that your business can flourish and be safe. While it may take a lot of resources and time to build up your cyber security program, it is very important. Many different ways people harm businesses is through the cyber world. It is important that businesses have some sort of protection against that. In my opinion, the benefits of establishing a cybersecurity program heavily outweigh the cons.
