The most relevant part of immunology I learned that was useful in making connections with my other coursework would be the cells of the immune system. This semester, I not only took immunology as a course, but also Histology and Anatomy, both with labs. This section of the course material was also covered in all four of my remaining classes. Due to the depth of explanation and description that was covered in immunology, I found it relatively easy to understand the material, making it easier for me to do well. It goes to show how important immunological functions are in the body and how anyone studying biology or related majors will have to understand them to understand their field. This made immunology relevant to all of my other studies and also helped me have a deeper understanding of the material, improving my quality of work as a student.
