The best example I have of a topic I learned in Cell Biology that helped me make a connection in other courses would be Glycolysis. In addition to taking cell biology, I was also taking biochemistry which for me were both extremely difficult courses because I find chemistry and math to be the easiest subjects for me, biology being a bit more difficult. While the whole course was effective, the in-depth discussion of Glycolysis gave me a great foundation of understanding that topic so when required to memorize and learn the entire process in BioChem, I was able to do so with ease. This course gave me the ability to further my learning of a topic and grow as a student by actively applying the information learned in class to other courses, in turn helping my success in the class. If I was not taking these courses together, I can say for certain that I would be extremely far behind.
