The principles of science, specifically critical thinking and the scientific method, can very relate to cybersecurity. Critical thinking involves analyzing, understanding, and addressing information, data, evidence. A person in cybersecurity highly values this principle. This allows decisions to be made to protect systems, technologies, and networks from cyber threats. Also, if there is a problem, the scientific method will come into play. The scientific methods consists of a hypothesis, and then tests, and the hypothesis will be modified based on test/experiment. This method is used and should be highly used by people in the cybersecurity field.
