About Me
Hi! I’m Keyshawn Braxton, a Computer Science student at Old Dominion University with a minor in Electrical Engineering Technology. Based in Houston, Texas, I combine a strong foundation in software development with real-world technical experience in industrial environments.
Professional Experience
Currently, I work as a Service Technician, where I troubleshoot complex mechanical systems and solve operational problems in the field. This role has taught me that the best engineering solutions are reliable, practical, and built to withstand real-world conditions—a philosophy I bring to my software projects.
Projects & Interests
My primary focus is on bridging the gap between software and hardware. I recently developed an Automated Site Access Security System using Python and Computer Vision (OpenCV), which integrates facial recognition with text-based credential verification. I am passionate about Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence, and building systems that enhance operational security.
Goal
I am actively seeking internship opportunities in Software Engineering and Cybersecurity for Summer 2026, where I can apply my technical skills to solve critical engineering challenges.
