Bradley Austin Hamilton

Hello! Welcome to my ePortfolio. I would like to start off by saying thank you for taking the time to visit and view my work. A little about myself, I am a senior at Old Dominion University, graduating May, 2025 with a B.S. in Cybersecurity. I live in Mobile, AL and work for a company called Hargrove Engineers & Constructors as a Controls & Automation Specialist II.

I served nine years in the U.S. Navy as a medical laboratory technician and practiced medicine for over 15 years. I began to realize how much I enjoyed the hands-on practice of working with electronics through this field due to the troubleshooting needed for various analyzers ranging from chemistry to microbiology. I worked as a biomedical field engineer for Siemens Healthineers providing me with a stepping stone into the controls and automation field of engineering. These experiences have gotten me to where I am today and wanting to pursue further advancement within my career with cyber security.

I have been fortunate to have many experiences in life, ranging from serving in the military and the healthcare field, to transitioning into the tech-field with field engineering and control systems engineering. This transition has helped me practice and gain valuable skills to succeed into cyber security where I feel I can be an asset.
